FAQs

How are you managing the COVID-19 pandemic?

To minimize the spread of COVID-19, we are currently providing individual counselling sessions remotely. All consultations are currently being provided through the online platform being used for these sessions. This way, individuals can make an informed decision with respect to whether or not this method of counselling meets their current needs.


Professional Workshops can be coordinated to adhere to the current municipal, provincial, and federal guidelines for COVID-19. 


BIPOC Support Groups will be provided remotely and/or in-person in alignment with group comfort levels.

How do I know if you are the right fit?

A free 30 minute consultation is available to determine if our services are a fit for your needs. We are also working to develop a blog which can provide some more information about services we provide and our style of therapy.

Do you offer student or other discounts?

Yes - please contact us directly to assess your individual situation.

Do you offer direct billing?

We do not currently offer direct billing; however, we can provide information to submit to your insurance provider to determine if Counselling Up Services align with your insurance coverage. 

What kind of payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and e-transfers. We do not accept cheques.

Do I have to use art therapy?

No, but art therapy principles are still incorporated into Counselling Up's practice, even if we are not making art in session.
